Feather River Doors has always been committed to strive for providing the 'greenest' program and doors. Here are some examples:
- We use 100% CFC free foam in our fiberglass doors and environmentally friendly blowing agents to prevent depletion of the ozone layer. 95% of our door slabs are made as molded open panel which reduces the cutout waste that ends up in landfills.
- Our newly introduced Pre-Paint program utilizes water based paints and the latest 'green' technology equipment to help reduce solvent emissions.
- All of our facilities keep tot strict recycling standards. Everyone from our manufacturing floor to office personnel practice and encourage recycling. (I have a recycling bin right underneath my desk!)
- Also, we produce fiberglass exterior and patio doors. Fiberglass material is known to be energy efficient and Energy Star qualified.
